Cancellation & refund policy

A reservation is considered confirmed once the required 30% deposit has been received and confirmation has been issued by GO DR TOURS.

The remaining balance is due according to the payment arrangements provided with your reservation and may generally be paid on arrival where applicable.

You may cancel an airport transfer or private transportation reservation more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time and receive a refund of amounts paid.

Non-refundable third-party payment-processing charges may be deducted where applicable.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time result in the 30% reservation deposit becoming non-refundable.

Any amount paid above the 30% deposit may be refunded, except for non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.

A customer who does not arrive at the agreed meeting location and does not communicate with GO DR TOURS within a reasonable period is considered a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Before marking a reservation as a no-show, GO DR TOURS will make a reasonable attempt to contact you using the phone or WhatsApp number supplied with your reservation.

We monitor the flight information you provide. A normal airline delay does not automatically cancel your reservation.

Where reasonably possible, your pickup time is adjusted based on the updated arrival time. You are responsible for providing the correct airline and flight number.

If your airline cancels your arriving flight, contact us as soon as possible.

We will first try to move your reservation to your replacement flight. If you are no longer travelling and can provide reasonable evidence of the airline cancellation, we may provide a refund or travel credit depending on costs already incurred.

Our aim is to treat genuine airline cancellations fairly rather than automatically forfeiting your payment.

Contact us as soon as possible to request a change to your pickup time, flight, hotel or travel date.

Changes are subject to vehicle, driver, tour and third-party supplier availability. Wherever practical we will accommodate a reasonable change without asking you to cancel and rebook.

Cancelling more than 48 hours before a tour may receive a refund, unless the specific tour operator has already imposed a non-refundable charge.

Cancelling less than 48 hours before a tour means the 30% reservation deposit is generally non-refundable. Additional supplier charges may also be non-refundable if we have already committed payment to a tour operator.

If a specific activity has stricter cancellation conditions, those conditions are disclosed to you before payment.

Light rain or normal tropical weather does not automatically qualify for cancellation.

If GO DR TOURS or the operating partner cancels an activity because weather or operating conditions make it unsafe, you will be offered rescheduling, an alternative activity of comparable value, or a refund for the cancelled service. You do not lose your payment when we cancel.

If we cannot provide a confirmed service due to an operational issue within our control, you will be offered a suitable replacement, rescheduling, or a refund for the affected service. We do not charge for a service we cannot provide.

Once a tour, transfer or transportation service has begun, unused portions are generally non-refundable unless GO DR TOURS is unable to complete the agreed service.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever practical.

Banks and card processors may require additional processing time after we issue a refund, and that timing is outside our control.
